Mark your calendars! The 2nd Annual Empty Bowls Project will soon be upon us! On March 2, 2010 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm in the Learning Resource Center Atrium at the College of Lake County over 1000 handmade ceramic bowls created by CLC ceramics students and faculty will be available for a minimum donation of $10 per bowl. Each beautiful bowl comes with a serving of chili generously donated by Crossroads of Ivanhoe. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Northern Illinois Food Bank. Last year's inaugural sale was a great success so come early to allow time to admire and pick the perfect bowl!
