Recent Works 2012

Recent Works is one of the College of Lake County's most widely attended exhibition receptions of the year. The juried exhibition of Lake County artists is in its 35th year of celebrating the talent and hard work of artists from a variety of mediums. Join us this Friday, September 28th at 7:00 to 9:00pm in the Robert T. Wright Gallery.

In addition to the high caliber works of art, there will be live music by Jazz Beaucoup and an awards presentation at 8:15p to be accompanied by hors d'oeuvres and refreshments. It's sure to be a lovely evening.

The exhibition will be on display through November 4, 2012. Visitors are welcome in the gallery during the posted hours the unique works of these accomplished artists.

Recent Works 2011 Award Winners

The opening for Recent Works - A Juried Competition for Lake County Artists - now in its 31st year - was held on Friday September 30, 2011.
The show was juried by David Holmes, Emeritus Professor of Art - University of Wisconsin-Parkside and Didier Nolet - artist and educator.  Out of a near record number of entries - 63 were chosen for the show.

The following artists received awards:

The opening of the 30th Annual Recent Works Juried Exhibition for Lake County Artists was held on Friday October 1, 2010.  Over 350 people gathered to admire the exhibition, enjoy the music of Jazz Beaucoup and nibble on some fabulous food.  The exhibition continues until Sunday November 7, 2010.  

Gallery Hours:
9 am to 9 pm Monday through Thursday
9 am to 4:30 pm Friday and Saturday
1 pm to 5 pm Sunday
